Blogging is an amazing way to pave your own path in this competitive world.
But, it needs to be done right and in a very creative way.
One of the most important things in blogging is obviously, the blog post, and this article is going to give you all the amazing details for your content.
I'm going to show you how to write a blog post from start to finish you're going to learn the exact same techniques that we used to write the blog posts on our website.
We have witnessed the traffic growing steadily with each month also the page views have been growing steadily.
I'm going to show you the extract formula that we use to write our blog posts.
I'm going to explain to you our process for how I would write a blog post step by step:
Step 1: Keyword Research and Selection
In this whole process of writing content, it is necessary to make sure that you have done in-depth research for your keywords and keyword selection.
You have to make sure that the keyword difficulty of your keyword matches the strength of your domain,
if your domain is fairly new or if your blog is fairly new then you will want to choose a keyword with the keyword difficulty of maximum 20.
Competing with the other websites can be tough in the beginning but as your domain score improves you will be among the sharks with your ranking articles. The domain authority increases with the age of the website and with do-follow backlinks referring to your domain.
Pick out the websites you can easily compete with them.
As the research is done on ahrefs, if you want to rank on the front page ideally,
what you require is high domain rating or very low competition keywords.
Keyword research tools like the Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, keyword.io are my personal favorite and they focus on the traffic and the authorities of your competitors.
Step 2: Length of the Blog-post
It is important to determine the required length for your blog post whether should you be writing 500 words or should you be writing two thousand words or five thousand words. How do you know the way?
The solution is :
To find out is to look at how long the content is for other sites that are ranking on page one.
checkout our blogs about pursuing reading as a hobby or the top programming languages
Write an article that is longer than most of your other competitors to calculate the length of each of these blog posts you simply open each one in a new tab.
Calculate how many words there is you can use a Chrome extension such as word counter plus extension,
this one here easily calculates the length of the posts if you select all of these content on the blog post and then right-click and then use this extension can these words it'll tell you how many words there.
This research will tell you the appropriate amount of words that you need to write over at your blog for getting a better shot at ranking on google and furthermore make an earning from it.
The average length suggested is around 2000-2200 words to create user engagement.
As when the content is longer it generally more comprehensive and informative that makes the users stay on your blog reading more interesting things.
And hence, reducing your bounce rate that is a valid procedure for ranking on google.
Step 3: Title of your blog post
Step 4: Subheadings are equally important
Include some subtopics so that we can start building the outline of the article to do that head over into the keyword research tool of your choice and take the main keyword.
Pull out all of the related terms to your title and place the relevant ones within the subheadings.
This will help you rank at different keywords and give you a better shot as Google's algorithms will consider it as a vast and informative piece of content.
Remember when we were told in school to write the answers in points as they are easy to read apply the same logic in this case.
Having some subheadings within our article is going to allow us to capture all these long-tailed traffic that has got all of these variations many people will be searching for.
Step 5: And Some More Subheadings, i.e, Minor Headings
Get some additional minor headings for your blog post and I do that by typing into Google the actual search term.
(look at these articles to understand how minor headings are used.)
Then scrolling all the way down and Google will always give you this option here searches related to the keyword you searched for.
These terms are typically related to the search that you're trying to rank for but this is the stuff that generally the keyword research tools will not give you.
It's a way for you to get additional related keyword search terms.
Google algorithms think that they're relevant so it's probably a good idea for you to include them.
Based on that it's probably a good idea for us to include these in your other subheadings.
You will find the option in your blogging admin the option to add headings, subheadings, minor headings.
Step 6: Competitive Research for Keywords
Step 7: The introduction should be catchy but it's just the hook
Step 8: The Content for your article
To write the actual article we just need to go through and fill out the bits of the outline that we've created in the previous steps.
The first thing that we want to do is to write about the topic you are discussing according to the research you have done as discussed in the previous steps.
Before writing an informative piece you need to read first! Until and unless you have given birth to the topic you are writing about.
As the more you know is better for your readers and you.
You will be able to find lots of references for any topic you are about to write.
Include a couple of long-tail keywords and your main keyword in the article's main content.
Insert all the headings and subheadings as discussed in the steps above.
Follow these steps that I have mentioned and before you know it you will have an amazing high-quality blog post.
Just watch the word count you want to have at least two thousand because this is what your competitors have as mentioned before.
If your competitor's blog posts are shorter maybe a thousand words each then you only need to write about a thousand or twelve hundred words.
Step 9: Linking To Other Websites
Writing a high-quality blog post to insert links to Authority websites.
This is actually going to help your blog post look more authoritative in the eyes of Google.
As the internet was built to provide high-quality information.
And by linking out to other high-quality websites from your blog post you will be positioning your page as a highly researched page that is backing up all of its claims by linking to high authority sources.
Having around 5-7 links to high authority websites is recommended to have your research backed-up.
Step 10: Internal Linking
When you're writing a blog post it is important to include links to other blog posts on your website.
What this will do is it will allow the users that are reading your article to also read some other articles from your blog.+9*8\=-
This will mean that your bounce rate for your article as well as for your website overall will go down.
People will stay on your website longer, click on more of your ads buy more of your affiliate products, and so on.
What I do is I look at my blog and I think what kind of articles are relevant to the article that I'm writing and then link the blog posts by generating a hyperlink.
Adding an anchor text that can be used on other websites while referring to yours for backlinking is also a great idea.
Find a good place to insert it in the body of the article and wait for the rest to work out on its own.
You might be thinking this will stuff your article.
But, this is not actually stuffing up the flow of the article rather it will make the readers experience better.
I recommend including at least five possibly 10-20 internal links depending on how much other relevant content you have on your website.
You can have as many internal links if it is not disrupting the flow of your article.
More internal links on your article will just give the reader a lot of opportunities to explore more content from your website.
You'll get a lot more page views and you will sell more of your affiliate products build a bigger list etc.
